Getting Started

Everything you need to invite BotNexus and configure your first module.

You'll need the Manage Server permission (or a role added via /serversettings) to complete setup.

Before you start

Make sure you can invite bots to your server and that BotNexus will land above any roles it needs to manage — mute roles, level roles, and verified roles all need BotNexus positioned correctly in your role list.

Step-by-step setup

  1. Invite BotNexus

Use the Add to Discord button at the top of this page and select your server.

  2. Set manager roles

Run /serversettings and add the roles that should be able to open /botconfig, in addition to Administrators.

  3. Open the config panel

Run /botconfig in any channel BotNexus can see, and pick a module from the dropdown at the bottom of the embed.

  4. Configure your core modules

Most servers start with Welcomer, Moderation, and Advanced Security, then add Levelling, Sessions, or Economy afterward.

  5. Save and verify

Click Save on each flow, then trigger the module (post a message, join the server, etc.) to confirm it behaves as expected.
